Ideal qualities of a kitchen
उच्चै : प्रशस्त दिक् देशं बहुवातायनं महत् ।
महानसं सुसंपृष्टं विश्वास्य जनसेवितम् ।।
सद् वास्था अधिष्ठित द्वारं कक्ष्यावत् सु वितानकम् ।
सुधौत दृढ़ कुम्भादि परिशुद्ध जल इन्धनम् ।।

उच्चै: - elevated , along with storage facility for firewoods
प्रशस्त दिक् देशं - Ideal direction and Place
बहुवातायनं महत्- with many (Big) doors
सुसंपृष्टं - people in the kitchen should be well interrogated by the securities .
विश्वास्य जनसेवितम् - people who are credible (To the king )
सद् वास्था अधिष्ठित द्वारं - Security in each door
कक्ष्यावत् - Well separated
सु वितानकम् - Well extended
सुधौत दृढ़ कुम्भादि - Cleaned vessels
परिशुद्ध जल इन्धनम् - Clean water , sufficient fire woods to cook
